Raids across West Bank
Israeli forces conducted a wide-scale raid and break-in campaign at dawn and early Wednesday across the West Bank and Jerusalem, including violent clashes in several towns and the arrest of Palestinians transferred to intelligence agencies for questioning.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club said the campaign resulted in the arrest of 22 Palestinians, including a journalist, and in Hebron’s al-Darurah (El-Dhahiriyah) area a curfew was imposed with foot patrols deployed and roads blocked.

In Nablus, forces raided the villages and towns of Ma’dam, Beita, and Asirah al-Qibliyah with heavy use of tear gas and sound bombs, and the brothers Asim and Yasser Ali Makhlouf were arrested during the storming of Asira al-Qibliyah.
In the town of Tarqu’eh (Taqou) southeast of Bethlehem, clashes erupted as sound and tear gas grenades were fired at the youths, while journalist Abdulrahman Hassan was arrested after a raid on his home.
In parallel, the raids extended to multiple areas including Kfar Adum north of Jerusalem and Qalandiya north of Jerusalem, where a young man named Mahmoud Atiya was arrested after a raid on his home.
Qusra siege and injuries
In Qasra, south of Nablus, Israeli forces and settlers continued to besiege three homes of Palestinian families for the twelfth day in a row, with an Israeli army correspondent reporting that Israeli forces and settlers have been besieging three homes for the twelfth day in a row.
Medical sources for Al Jazeera reported that at least 12 Palestinians were injured on Thursday as settlers carried out an attack in the area between the villages al-Mughir and Abu Fallah, northeast of Ramallah, while the Israeli army deployed soldiers around the town of Qasra.
WAFA earlier reported 5 people wounded during the assault, and the Palestinian Red Crescent announced that 6 injured were transported to hospital for treatment following the settlers’ attack in al-Mughir.
American Ambassador to Israel Mike Hagi Leaks told Reuters that Washington may impose sanctions on the settlers involved in the siege of homes in the town of Qasra, adding that the United States is “shocked” by what happened in Qasra.
In the same account, the United Nations said it has documented since early 2026 more than 1,430 attacks targeting about 260 Palestinian communities, contributing to the displacement of about 3,800 Palestinians, including nearly half of them children.
Arrests, displacement, and pressure
The Israeli army swept several Palestinian areas in the West Bank on Wednesday, launched a campaign of arrests, and continued to besiege three homes in the town of Qusra south of Nablus, while the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said the Israeli army arrested 30 Palestinians, including a journalist, during the dawn raids and searches.

Earlier, the Prisoners’ Club stated in a press release that last night and this morning’s arrests totaled 22 Palestinians from various areas of the West Bank, and Al Jazeera’s correspondent Eliyas Kram reported that Israeli police arrested Jerusalem Affairs Minister Ashraf Al-Awar from his home in Silwan, Jerusalem.
Hours later, the Jerusalem governorate announced the minister’s release on bail after questioning, while in the southern Hebron area an Israeli force raided the town of al-Thaura, searched homes and vehicles, and arrested 8 Palestinians.
In Qusra, the head of the Qusra municipality, Abdul-Azim al-Wadi, said the three families were facing hardship due to the ongoing siege and movement restrictions, and he described the area as a “closed military zone.”
B’Tselem warned that 47 Palestinian families face the imminent threat of displacement in the Jordan Valley region due to the Israeli army and settlers cutting water to their homes, and the United Nations said it documented since the start of 2026 more than 1,430 attacks targeting about 260 Palestinian communities.
