In the same area, Ahmad Kuwazba, head of the al-Minya Village Council, told وكالة شهاب الإخبارية that settlers threw stones at homes belonging to the Jabbarin family in the Qarn area near the village’s roundabout, amid provocations and the sounding of disturbing noises.

وكالة شهاب الإخبارية said Kuwazba noted that the settlers' attacks have intensified recently and consist of pursuing residents and throwing stones at homes, which in some cases led to injuries among residents.

West Bank violence intensifies

De Standaard described Israeli settler violence against Palestinians as intensifying in the occupied West Bank, saying it has risen sharply since the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel triggered the Gaza war.

The outlet quoted Nedal Younis, head of the village council of Masafer Yatta, saying, "They can attack us at any moment."

De Standaard also said that during the first 25 days of the war with Iran, Israeli settlers carried out at least 257 attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank, according to figures from the human rights organization Yesh Din.

In that same account, Nasser Nawajah, who works for the Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem, said in an audio message, "We, Palestinians, live in trauma, in fear of dying at any moment."

Fear and wider conflict

Chronique de Palestine said that while the United States strives to prolong Israeli aggression against Gaza under the guise of a ceasefire, another war is unfolding in the West Bank.

The local outlet wrote that in 2025 the Israeli military offensive in the West Bank triggered the largest campaign of mass displacement Palestinians have known since 1967, with nearly 50,000 Palestinians forcibly evicted from their homes.

Chronique de Palestine stated that the Israeli army destroyed the Jenin and Tulkarem refugee camps and forbade their inhabitants from returning, and that it has now turned the two camps into northern military headquarters.

In the same account, it said that each week on average, nine Palestinians are killed, 88 others injured, 180 detained, about a dozen tortured during on-site interrogations, in addition to an average of 100 attacks by Israeli settlers, 300 raids and military assaults, and 10 demolitions of Palestinian homes and property.
