Lhuan-dre Pretorius broke Chris Gayle's record for the highest individual score in men's T20 cricket by smashing an unbeaten 188 off 79 deliveries for the Titans against the Knights in the CSA T20 Challenge at Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein. Pretorius reached his half-century in 24 balls and brought up his century off 40 deliveries, then finished with a strike rate of 237.97 after hitting 15 fours and 13 sixes. Titans finished on 267 for 3, the second-highest score in the competition's history behind their 271 for 3 against the same opposition in 2022.
