Liverpool Marks Mohamed Salah’s Final Anfield Appearance Against Brentford

Salah’s departure comes after nine years with the Reds, and Liverpool’s own announcement said he will leave “at the end of the 2025-26 season,” closing a “remarkable nine-year chapter at Anfield.”

beIN SPORTS said Liverpool’s tribute video began with Salah’s two daughters, Makka and Kayan, walking onto the Anfield pitch to reveal photographs of “some of the Egyptian star’s most iconic goals and unforgettable moments in a Liverpool shirt.”

The same beIN SPORTS account said the video closes with a family moment as Salah’s daughters share “a few words with their father,” with a family photo featuring his wife Maggi and the Premier League trophy appearing on screen.

In Liverpool’s farewell framing, the club also tied the send-off to the Anfield chant, including the line “Mo Salah, Mo Salah, Mo Salah, running down the wing… Salah, la, la, la, laaaaaa… The Egyptian King!”

The farewell is being staged against a backdrop of on-field and off-field friction, with The National describing “relations between Salah and manager Arne Slot having long since broken down” and saying there will be “no trophy number 10 in Liverpool red.”
