Gaza hostages moved
With Israeli bombardment intensifying, Al Arabiya, citing a Hamas source, reported that the Qassam Brigades moved hostages to several different locations in the city of Gaza because there was "serious concern about the lives of the hostages." On Wednesday, 26 Shahrivar, Al Arabiya wrote that the relocation was carried out "to prevent harm to the hostages." The Israeli Hostage Families Association accused Benjamin Netanyahu of having "politically decided to sacrifice the hostages" and of ignoring assessments by the army and security agencies, while Netanyahu threatened Hamas with "heavy consequences" and warned, "If even one hair from a hostage's head is moved, we will pursue them with greater force for the rest of their lives; and that end will come much faster than they imagine." Yaal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, said Israeli forces in Gaza 'are taking the lives of the hostages into account' as they advanced in the city 'decisively but gradually.'

Shelter, exits, and deaths
The Israeli army announced it would open Salah al-Din Road for 48 hours so Palestinians can leave Gaza City, while Reuters reported that hundreds of thousands have taken shelter in the city and many are refraining from following Israel's orders to move south due to danger of routes, severe conditions, food shortages in southern areas, and fear of permanent displacement. Hamas health officials said that on Wednesday, 26 Shahrivar, at least 40 people across the Gaza Strip were killed in Israeli attacks, including 30 in the city of Gaza, and they said an Israeli drone dropped grenades on part of the Rantisi Children’s Hospital. The attack caused no casualties, but about 40 families evacuated their hospitalized children from there, and Gaza’s media office said 190,000 people have moved south and 350,000 have relocated to central and western areas of the city. Israel estimates that since the army’s announcement to take control of Gaza on 19 Mordad, about 400,000 people, or 40 percent of the population, have left the city, and Reuters, citing an Israeli official, wrote that the military operation is focused on pushing civilians south. Palestinian authorities and the UN said no area, even in the south which Israel calls a 'humanitarian zone,' is safe, after an airstrike on the Nuseirat refugee camp destroyed a tall building and frightened nearby residents into fleeing.

UN Security Council reactions
The United Nations Security Council held an emergency meeting in New York a few hours after Israel's attacks on Iranian soil, held under the title “Threats to International Peace and Security” at the request of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the meeting included a virtual briefing by Rafael Grossi, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Vasily Nebenzia, Russia’s ambassador and permanent representative to the UN, condemned the “unjustified” Israeli attack on Iran and warned that tolerating such actions would lead decisively to a broader war and pose a serious threat to global security, urging the Security Council to provide a precise assessment and to "call for an immediate halt to any use of force." Fu Cong, China’s permanent representative to the UN, also condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran, saying, "Escalating tensions in the region will benefit no one, and we call on Israel to stop its attacks on Iran." In the same meeting, the U.S. representative said, "The United States seeks a diplomatic solution and Iran should negotiate now," while McCaw-Pitt, a senior official in the Office of International Organizations at the U.S. State Department, alleged that Iran has repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel and that "Now, Iran is firing missiles at civilian areas across Israel, including Tel Aviv." South Africa’s press statement in response to the Zionist regime's aggression against Iran said the attacks raise serious concerns about international law, including the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and protection of civilians as set forth in the United Nations Charter and international humanitarian law.
“In a statement issued on Wednesday, the ministry referred to the recent attack on a police center in Jabalia in northern Gaza, which it said killed the commander and several police personnel, as well as the detention and torture of Palestinians, the confiscation of Palestinian lands in the West Bank, the destruction of vital infrastructure, and restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza”
