Fatal Crash
Two Berks County firefighters were killed while riding in a utility vehicle during a search for a missing woman.

A car swerved and struck them head-on on Route 222.

The driver was identified as 26-year-old Alexander Sepulveda-Rivera of the Bronx, New York.
Both the driver and a passenger fled the scene but were later taken into custody.
Charges and Investigation
Sepulveda-Rivera faces 21 charges including homicide by vehicle while DUI and involuntary manslaughter.
He is lodged in Berks County Jail on an outstanding warrant.
