October 7 message disclosed
A message attributed to the Qassam Brigades’ leadership was disclosed as having been sent to Hassan Nasrallah on the morning of October 7, 2023, with Maariv reporting it was found months earlier inside an underground Hamas facility in the Gaza Strip after “most of those involved in drafting it” were killed during Israeli military operations.
“When you read these words of ours, thousands of fighters from the Qassam Brigades will have already gone out to attack the criminal Zionist occupation's targets”
The letter, described by Euronews as signed by Mohammed Deif, Marwan Issa, and Yahya Sinwar, said that when Nasrallah reads it, “thousands of fighters from the Qassam Brigades will have already gone out to attack the criminal Zionist occupation’s targets.”

Euronews said the message described attacking military sites, settlements, airports, and junctions in southern Israel, breaching the barrier, engaging in direct clashes, seizing military and civilian sites, and kidnapping Israeli soldiers.
Al-Jazeera Net reported the message warned that Israel is moving toward a “fragmentation of the conflict” by waging separate confrontations in each arena instead of a regional-wide confrontation, and it added, “The cost of hesitation will be high.”
Call for Hezbollah front
The message attributed to the Qassam Brigades’ leadership urged Hezbollah to participate directly, with Al-Jazeera Net saying it called for “hasten participation and not hesitate,” warning that hesitation would carry a cost that would be “high and unaffordable.”
Al-Jazeera Net also reported the message’s claim that intensive and focused rocket fire on Israel’s vital arteries, “in parallel with drone strikes,” would cripple the air force’s capabilities and exhaust its defense systems, leading to a rapid collapse.

Euronews said the letter included a direct request to participate in the confrontation with Israel and described the operation as the strongest blow Israel has faced in decades.
In the same disclosure, Euronews said the message placed Al-Aqsa at the heart of the document, linking the attack to escalating Israeli incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the weeks before the operation and accusing Israel of emptying the mosque of Muslim worshippers and hindering engagement at the gates of the mosque and in the Old City.
Strategy and information war
Beyond the operational appeal, the message attributed to the Qassam Brigades’ leadership argued for a political framing that would avoid language about eliminating Israel, with Al-Jazeera Net reporting it called for discourse that centers on obliging Israel to comply with international resolutions rather than calls to destroy it.
“A message attributed to the leadership of the Qassam Brigades, Hamas's military wing, addressed to Hassan Nasrallah on the morning of the October 7 attack, reveals a direct call for Hezbollah to participate in the war against Israel, along with details about the operation's background, according to the Israeli newspaper Maariv”
Al-Jazeera Net said the message warned that normalization in the region is a “strategic danger” to forces opposed to Israel and could narrow their opportunities and moves.
The ADL Center on Extremism described a separate but related information pipeline in the U.S., saying it tracked how some U.S.-based anti-Zionist activists and groups are amplifying propaganda from Palestinian Foreign Terrorist Organizations on Telegram and mainstream social media platforms such as X and Instagram.
The ADL report said the dissemination of FTO material “fuels a broader, dangerous shift since October 7,” describing increased normalization of rhetoric and messaging from terror organizations that overtly encourage acts of violence against Israel and Jewish people.
