Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv regional military administration, said Friday that Russian strikes damaged 14 warehouses, 16 private houses, three apartment buildings and 16 vehicles, and the State Emergency Service described one drone hit as a “double tap” after emergency crews were deployed.
The attacks killed one person and wounded two others, according to officials, while the Russian Defense Ministry said it struck a warehouse in the Kyiv region that stores Ukraine’s Flamingo cruise missiles and fuel for rocket boosters, a claim Ukrainian officials did not immediately confirm and The Associated Press could not verify.

That update said the drones include what is described as 'Russian-made super drone aircraft,' which are inexpensive to produce and have a sufficient range to hover over potential missile targets, and it added that 'it is likely that Russia adopted this approach in order to obtain a more accurate assessment of the damage caused by the battle.'
The update also warned that surveillance drones are highly vulnerable to Ukrainian air defenses, even as it described the slow and insufficient targeting process as a major weakness in Russia’s performance in Ukraine.
In the Kyiv region attacks, Andrii Kovalenko, head of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, said on social media on Friday that “The goal is to exhaust air defenses and the population,” as Russia launched small numbers of fast-moving jet-powered drones in waves.
