Final trailer and release
Sony Pictures released the final trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, described as “Peter’s Journey,” and it arrives online ten days ahead of the film’s July 31 opening.
The trailer is billed as a look back at Tom Holland’s run in the suit, with Peter Parker narrating footage from Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home as he explains why everyone had to forget he ever existed.
Seat42F says the countdown is “almost over,” with just two weeks to go before Spider-Man Brand New Day swings into theaters, and it frames the trailer as revisiting Peter’s biggest moments from Spider-Man: Homecoming through the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

A world that forgets
Multiple outlets tie the trailer’s emotional core to a world that no longer remembers Peter Parker, with Seat42F stating that “Peter Parker finds himself completely alone.”
Seat42F also quotes the official synopsis that “Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him” pushes Peter toward a transformation he may not control.
KultureGeek places the story four years after Spider-Man: No Way Home, saying Peter Parker lives alone and “lutte contre le crime dans un New York qui ne connaît plus son nom,” while the trailer’s recap is built around the memory wipe caused by Doctor Strange.
