Trump Meets Mamdani Monday
President Donald Trump will meet New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Monday at Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s official residence in Manhattan, the mayor’s office announced Sunday.
“The meeting will happen at Gracie Mansion, the official mayor's residence.”
ABC News reported that the meeting will focus on issues affecting New York City and New Yorkers, and that no further details were immediately provided.

CBS News said the meeting will be the first time the two meet in New York City, with a city official and the White House confirming it.
The meeting comes as Trump is already scheduled to be in New York City Monday to address the United Nations General Assembly, according to ABC News.
City Hall said the meeting will focus on issues affecting New York City and New Yorkers, but did not specify what time it will take place, according to ABC7 New York.
Cordial Tone, Private Talks
ABC7 New York said the meeting follows months after Mamdani and Trump held their first face-to-face meeting in the Oval Office, where the two leaders struck a notably cordial tone despite months of public clashes during Mamdani’s mayoral campaign.
After that White House meeting, Mamdani described the conversation as "productive" and said it focused on shared priorities including affordability, crime, rents, grocery costs and utility prices, ABC7 New York reported.

CBS News said Mamdani told CBS News earlier this year that he prefers to keep the "frequency and the nature of those conversations private, because that's the premise of them."
CNN reported Mamdani was asked last week whether he planned to meet with the president and said, "When it comes to the president, we continue to have a conversation about how best to deliver for this city."C
Gothamist said the meeting at Gracie Mansion will be the first on the mayor’s home turf and described it as the third meeting between the two men.
