$5,000 Trump Dividend
President Donald Trump pledged at the Republican National Committee’s first-ever midterm convention in Dallas that if Republicans retain control of Congress in November’s midterm election, he would pay every American adult a $5,000 “Trump dividend.”

Trump’s condition for the dividend was that it must be spent in the United States, and he told the crowd, “The only caveat I have is that the dividend that we're making must be spent in the United States of America.”
The Hill reported that Trump said the administration could disburse the proposed “Trump dividends” “because we’ve done so well and because our country is making so much money,” while also saying he did not outline specifics on how the payments would be handled.
