Wildberries hit again
Ukrainian drones struck warehouses belonging to Russia’s biggest online retailer, Wildberries, again on Wednesday, injuring eight people, the company said.
ABC News & Headlines reported the strikes hit Wildberries sites in southern Russia on Wednesday, four days after Ukrainian drones sparked fires and killed eight people at the company’s site outside Moscow.
Wildberries CEO Tatiana Kim said the company’s logistic centres in the southern cities of Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk were attacked and evacuated, and she said, "There are no words that can describe the feelings and emotions because of attacks on ordinary people, our employees."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv had struck "logistics hubs involved in supplying the Russian army with drone components, navigation equipment and other gear."
Claims, numbers, and officials
Al Jazeera said Russian officials reported a warehouse complex had caught fire after a drone attack on the outskirts of Nevinnomyssk, and Vladimir Kondratyev said five people had received medical treatment.
The same Al Jazeera report said the Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters later said three more people were wounded when drone debris fell on the warehouse in Krasnodar, while local authorities in Armavir said one worker was killed when debris fell on a site there.
In a Telegram statement carried by Le Figaro, Tatiana Kim said, "our logistics centers were attacked in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk," and the report said one person was killed and 15 others were injured overnight.
Le Figaro also described the previous attack on Saturday, saying it killed eight night-shift workers and caused fires that nearly destroyed the facilities, while the BBC-linked Modern Ghana page said Ukrainian drones hit the retailer again, "killing one person and injuring another 14".
Wider war aims
Beyond Wildberries, ABC News & Headlines said Russia’s defence ministry reported strikes on Ukrainian ports and vessels, including a dry-cargo ship unloading at Chornomorsk port and fuel and lubricant storage tanks.

Al Jazeera reported Zelenskyy also said that in the Black Sea and Azov Sea areas, a tanker and four cargo ships belonging to the Russian shadow fleet were hit, and Zelenskyy added, "We are justly returning the war to its source – to Russia,".
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty said the Ukrainian military struck Wildberries warehouses in the third attack targeting such facilities in a week, and it quoted Zelenskyy confirming the attacks targeted logistics centres "involved in supplying the Russian military with drone components, navigation equipment, and other gear."
The Guardian’s briefing tied the Wildberries warehouse fires to a broader pattern of attacks, saying Ukraine’s president linked the latest Moscow-area warehouse site to "the warehouses’ involvement in the Russian war effort" and noting that the Ukrainian attack around Russia’s capital started a fire at the Yuzhnye Vrata industrial park.
