USS Abraham Lincoln, Iran
CNN reported that pilots were preparing for anything aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea as it experienced its busiest day yet amid potential strikes.

An American official told CNN correspondent Pamela Brown that the situation with Iran remained highly volatile and that more strikes could be carried out.

The CNN Arabic report said the U.S. military was on high alert and waiting, and that the targets struck were missiles that could be used against American assets such as aircraft carriers.
The CNN Arabic report added that the U.S. Navy participated in the strikes and that operations aboard the Abraham Lincoln were defensive in nature while also monitoring the Strait of Hormuz.
Drone downing and warnings
İran İnternational reported that the U.S. military said it targeted and shot down an Iranian Shahed-139 drone approaching the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea.
CENTCOM said in a statement that the drone approached the carrier aggressively and with unspecified intent, and that it was ultimately destroyed by an F-35C fighter jet of the U.S. Navy.

The same report said CENTCOM warned in a statement on Sunday, 11 Bahman, that any unsafe or unprofessional behavior near U.S. forces, regional partners, or merchant ships by forces affiliated with the Islamic Republic could raise the risk of collision, escalation and instability.
İran İnternational also said an American official told Reuters that the downing had been confirmed and that the Iranian drone had been approaching the ship directly.
More strikes and diplomacy
The National said the U.S. military struck over 80 Iranian targets, including IRGC small boats and missile capabilities, after attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
The National reported that Centcom said Iranian forces committed a "clear and dangerous violation" of the ceasefire and warned its forces remain "postured and prepared to hold Iran accountable."
Jarida al-Jarida al-Kuwaitiyya reported that CENTCOM announced additional strikes against Iran with the aim of further undermining Tehran's ability to threaten freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM said in a statement published on its X account that "CENTCOM forces have begun conducting additional strikes against Iran" and that the United States holds Iran responsible for the "recent and unjustified aggression" targeting commercial shipping and civilian crews.
