Pugh's Death Confirmed
Jack Pugh, the former Wisconsin Badgers tight end, has died at 24.

The university announced the athletics family was deeply saddened.
Pugh medically retired in 2023 citing mental health struggles.
Pugh Retired for Mental Health
Pugh announced his retirement in an Instagram post in December 2023.
His mental health was the reason he decided to hang it up.
He never had prioritized his mental health all along, digging a deeper darker hole.
Career and Academic Achievements
Pugh redshirted in 2021 and appeared in one game.
“The Columbus, Ohio, native was a four-star recruit for the Badgers despite only playing football for his final two years in high school”
He earned academic All-Big Ten honors in 2022.
He proudly earned his degree from UW-Madison in 2025.
