3 Palestinians killed, others injured in fresh Israeli attacks on Gaza

No framing issues found.

Three Palestinians were killed and others injured in Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip on Friday as violations of the October 2025 ceasefire continue unabated. Two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike targeting a motorcycle in the al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City, medical sources told Anadolu. In a separate incident, the sources said several Palestinians were wounded in a strike on Gaza City’s al-Rimal neighborhood. On Friday morning, another Palestinian was killed and others injured when a drone targeted a bicycle on al-Qubba Street in the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, a medical source and local sources told Anadolu.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army expanded the areas under its control east of al-Masdar village in central Gaza. Local sources said the army extended its control east of the village by moving the concrete blocks marking the so-called “Yellow Line” into areas beyond its existing zone of control. Residents were surprised to find the blocks among their homes near the Ibn Zaydoun intersection east of the village, as the army moved them about 500 meters overnight, the sources added.

For about a week, eastern areas of the central governorate have seen intensive movements by Israeli military vehicles along the Yellow Line, accompanied by the leveling of agricultural land and the demolition of homes evacuated by Palestinians, according to the sources. The “Yellow Line, established under the ceasefire understandings, separates areas where Palestinians are permitted to remain in the west from areas occupied by the Israeli army in the east.

In northern Gaza, the Israeli army carried out two demolitions of homes and structures in areas where its forces are deployed in the Shujaiya and al-Tuffah neighborhoods east of Gaza City. Since October 2023, the Israeli army has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others in Gaza, while around 90% of the enclave’s civilian infrastructure has been destroyed.

About this analysis

Anadolu reports three Palestinians killed and others wounded in Israeli strikes across Gaza on Friday, and the Israeli army pushing its Yellow Line markers about 500 metres into residential areas east of al-Masdar. The article names the Israeli army as the actor, uses the word killed, and gives the scale of Israel's killing since October 2023. Nothing in it misleads.

What it gets right

  • “Two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike targeting a motorcycle”

Anadolu says the people were killed and names the Israeli strike that killed them, with no passive construction to hide the actor.

  • “Since October 2023, the Israeli army has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others in Gaza”

The article gives the scale of the killing in its own voice, with Israel's army as the subject and killed as the verb, and attaches no caveat to the Palestinian toll.

  • “as violations of the October 2025 ceasefire continue unabated”

Anadolu calls the strikes ceasefire violations, so the reader understands the killing did not stop with the truce.
