2 Palestinians, including woman, killed in latest Israeli violations of Gaza ceasefire
Two Palestinians, including a woman, were killed and four others wounded Saturday in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, medical sources told Anadolu. The attacks came amid continued Israeli violations of a ceasefire agreement in place since Oct. 10, 2025. Medical sources said Fatima Abu Laban, a Palestinian woman, was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Tal al-Dhahab area of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. Another Palestinian woman was wounded in the neck by Israeli gunfire in Beit Lahia, the sources added. Mohammad Anan al-Rawagh, a Palestinian youth, was killed and three others were wounded, one seriously, in an Israeli strike on the al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City, they said. Witnesses said an Israeli drone fired at least one missile at passersby near Palestine Stadium in the al-Rimal neighborhood. At dawn Saturday, Israeli drones dropped explosive boxes on homes evacuated by their residents near areas under Israeli military control in the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City. The incident coincided with heavy gunfire from military vehicles in the surrounding area, local sources said. Israeli naval vessels also fired gunshots and shells toward Gaza City's coastline, with no injuries reported, according to the sources. Israeli ceasefire violations have killed 1,547 Palestinians and wounded 5,559 others as of Saturday, according to the latest figures from Gaza's Health Ministry. Since October 2023, Israel's genocidal war on Gaza has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded over 175,000, while causing widespread destruction affecting around 90% of the territory's civilian infrastructure.
