The Jerusalem Post calls the Fatemiyoun members killed at the school terrorists and a terror group in its own voice, with no source for the label. It calls their attackers a militant organisation and puts the word terrorist in quotation marks when Iranian media use it. The outlet also calls a killed police officer a regime security officer in its own narration.

  1. Labels people on one side's word

    Severe

    “the terror group”

    Why this matters
The words "the terror group" label the Fatemiyoun, whose members were killed, as terrorists in the outlet's own voice. The same sentence calls them a Shi'ite militia, and no source is given for the stronger label.
    The impression it gives
A reader believes it is an established fact that the dead belonged to a terrorist organisation.
    The context
The article names no source for the terror label. Its only source for the killings, Haalvsh, is cited for the facts of the attack, not for this label. The outlet calls the attackers' group "a Baloch nationalist militant organization", so it reserves the word terror for one side.

    “attacked the terrorists”

    Why this matters
The words "attacked the terrorists" go further. They call the people shot dead terrorists outright in the outlet's own narration of the killing.
    The impression it gives
A reader takes the dead as terrorists and reads their killing as an attack on terrorists, not on people stationed at a village school.
    The context
Nothing in the article supports the label. When Iranian media call attackers terrorists, the outlet puts the word in quotation marks and attributes it to Tasnim. It applies no such care to the label it gives the Fatemiyoun dead.

    Written straight

At least seven members of the Fatemiyoun, a Shi'ite militia funded and trained by the IRGC, were killed when two armed men opened fire on them at a school reportedly used as their base, according to Haalvsh.

  2. Uses a loaded word

    Minor

“Haalvsh reported a regime security officer”

    Why this matters
The outlet repeats "regime" in its narration of a police officer's killing. The word is placed beside Haalvsh's name, but nothing shows Haalvsh used it.
    The impression it gives
A reader may think the source itself described the officer this way.
    The context
S3 identifies the dead man as a member of the Saravan County police intelligence unit. That is a state police officer, and the word regime adds a verdict the facts do not carry.
