The Anadolu Ajansı report said the Interior Ministry urged people to go to the “nearest safest place” amid ongoing US-Iran escalation.

In the Strait of Hormuz dispute, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said Iran was under no obligation to adhere to the MoU with the US as it no longer stands, while Iran vowed to defend "every inch" of its territory.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian responded to Donald Trump’s claim that he had taken the majority of Iran’s military capabilities, saying “We will defend every inch of our homeland with our actions.”
Escalation Warnings and Threats
Military and defense analyst Alex Alfirraz Scheers warned that the US risks falling into an “escalation trap” if it launches a ground assault in Iran because Tehran still retains a large number of ballistic missiles.
CBS News said the Commander in Chief directed strikes to “hold Iranian forces accountable,” as the US and Iran exchanged threats.
The BBC framed the diplomatic stakes by noting that U.S. President Donald Trump warned that otherwise 'bad things' could happen, while Abbas Araqchi repeatedly rejected negotiations about Tehran's missile capabilities.
In response to the possibility of military movement, CNN Arabic reported Iran’s deputy foreign minister Kazem Gharib Abadi posted: 'As a responsible power and guarantor of the Strait's security, Iran warns against any military movement in this waterway.'
What’s at Risk Next
The BBC said Iran and the United States began a fresh round of negotiations on February 6 in Muscat, the capital of Oman, with the shadow of a military confrontation still loomed over them.
It added that Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan rejected the use of their airspace and soil for any potential attack on Iran, narrowing the options for the United States.
The BBC also warned that Iran has threatened that American and Israeli bases and military assets are legitimate targets, a threat that could mean potential attacks on Iraq, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, and Syria.
In parallel, the Anadolu Ajansı report said the Bahrain Defense Force described intercepted attacks as “treacherous Iranian aerial attacks,” while the Interior Ministry urged calm and movement to the “nearest safest place.”
