Four-time Formula 1 world champion Alain Prost was injured during a masked gang raid at his home in Nyon, Switzerland, with Swiss media reporting the robbery took place at around 8:30am on Tuesday.

Crash.net said police confirmed a family was targeted by robbers at around 8:30am on Tuesday and that “several hooded individuals entered the house,” according to a police statement.

BBC reported that the Vaud cantonal police force said, “Once inside, they threatened the occupants and slightly injured one family member in the head,” while the perpetrators then forced another family member to open a safe before fleeing.
