Austin shooting spree
Austin police said they arrested two suspects and were searching for a third after at least 10 shootings across Austin on Saturday and Sunday, including at least two at local fire stations.
“AUSTIN, Texas (KTRK) -- Four people have been injured across 10 shootings in Austin overnight, authorities say, with two suspects now in custody and one still at large”
City officials said at least four people were injured, and Austin police described a possible suspect as a White or Hispanic male in his late teens.

Investigators said they believe the suspect or suspects might be traveling in a white KIA Optima and connected the crime to a black or dark blue 2012 Hyundai Sonata with a broken right-side passenger window.
The Austin Firefighters Association said two fire stations were hit by gunfire during the weekend shootings, with no firefighters injured and only minor damage to at least one fire apparatus and both stations.
Police issued a shelter-in-place for parts of South Austin and later said it was cancelled, while a heavy law enforcement presence continued in Manor as officers searched a residential area near US 290 and FM 973.
Randomness and vehicle alerts
Austin Mayor Kirk Watson said, "We don't have any specific motives that have been identified" and added, "In fact, these actions appear to be random."
Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis said the suspects were in their late teens and described vehicles used in the shootings, including a black or dark blue Hyundai, a gold Hyundai sedan, a silver Mazda four door and a white Kia Optima.

Axios reported that police asked residents in an area roughly bounded by Ben White Boulevard, Slaughter Lane, McKinney Falls Parkway and Escarpment Boulevard to shelter in place between 3:30-4:30pm Sunday.
In a separate update, ABC13 Houston said investigators confirmed there were 10 shootings in total and that the shootings "appear to be random."
Police also warned residents not to approach the suspects and to call 911 if they see the suspected vehicle or know where the suspect or suspects may be.
Manor search and next steps
As the shelter-in-place for South Austin was lifted, police said a third suspect remained at large in the Manor area, prompting a continued search by Manor Police Department and multiple law enforcement agencies.
