Bitmine adds 9,946 ETH
Bitmine Immersion Technologies said Monday it holds 5.79 million Ether after purchasing nearly 10,000 $ETH over the past week, bringing its total to 5,787,414 ETH.
The company disclosed that about 4.9 million $ETH, or roughly 85% of its holdings, are staked through its validator operations and projected annualized staking rewards of about $299 million once all of its Ether is deployed.

CoinGecko data cited in the announcement showed $ETH has gained about 2.4% over the past seven days while Bitcoin has fallen roughly 0.7%, as the firm’s purchases continued.
In the same update, Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee said the rising $ETH/$BTC ratio, described as being at a three-month high, signaled strengthening momentum for Ether.
Buybacks lift shares
Separate coverage tied Bitmine’s crypto accumulation to equity moves, saying the stock climbed 12.8% to $17.81 as of 9:50 a.m. EDT on July 27, 2026.
TechStock² reported BitMine acquired 9,946 ETH and also bought back 6.1 million shares, with buybacks accounting for approximately 86% of the weekly increase in ETH per share.

The same report said BitMine’s portfolio value was $11.8 billion as of July 26, and it listed 5,787,414 ETH plus $268 million in cash and marketable securities.
It also quoted Tom Lee saying, “We increased our equity buyback,” while pointing to a three-month peak in the ETH/BTC ratio.
Goal of 5% supply
Bitmine’s stated strategy is to bring its total stash to 5% of Ethereum’s total supply, and one report said the company was “96% of the way to the 'Alchemy of 5%' in just 13 months.”
“The company added nearly 10,000 ETH over the past week, bringing its holdings to 5”
PR Newswire said Bitmine owns 4.8% of the total ETH coin supply of 120.7 million and that its crypto holdings, cash and marketable securities total $11.8 billion as of July 26, 2026 at 7:00pm ET.
It also said Bitmine has 4,917,189 staked ETH and projected annualized staking revenue of $299 million once all Ether is deployed, while also citing a 7-day yield of 2.65% annualized.
In the company’s statement, Tom Lee said, “ETH prices are now reaching a 10-week high,” and he pointed to “$2,000 and $2,500 for ETH” as next key levels.
