Capital B buys 376 BTC
Capital B, the French holding company listed on Euronext Growth Paris under the ticker ALCPB, finalized a €28.7 million private placement and used the proceeds to buy 376 bitcoin for €25.3 million.

The purchase lifted the group’s total treasury to 3,521 BTC, worth about €309.4 million at an average acquisition cost of €87,878 per bitcoin, according to a company press release.

Capital B said the 376 bitcoin were acquired through Swissquote Bank Europe SA, a virtual asset service provider registered with Luxembourg’s CSSF regulator, and will be held in custody using technology from Swiss firm Taurus.
The company also reported a BTC Yield of 2.17% year to date and a bitcoin gain of 61.3 BTC, while keeping 61 additional bitcoin for operational needs separate from its treasury performance indicators.
Financing and Back’s stake
Capital B funded the acquisition through a €1.44 million ATM increase and a share placement subscribed in two tranches, with the €28.7 million placement including strategic investors Adam Back and TOBAM.
KuCoin said the warrants attached to each share carry exercise prices rising from €0.75 to €1.27 and could raise a further €185.3 million if all are exercised.

CoinMarketCap reported that Adam Back contributed €7.6 million ($8.8 million) as part of that round, lifting his ownership in Capital B to 17.64% on an ordinary basis.
The Block similarly described the transaction as Capital B’s largest bitcoin acquisition since September 2025, when it bought 551 BTC, and said the firm bought just 6 BTC in August 2026.
What it signals next
Capital B said the warrant structure is designed to fund future bitcoin purchases, and the company framed the acquisition as a continuation of its Bitcoin Treasury Company strategy.

The Block reported that Capital B rebranded in July 2025 to focus on its bitcoin treasury strategy and said in June it was exploring a bitcoin-backed credit product for the European market modeled after Strategy's STRC and Strive's SATA.
Crypto News added that Capital B completed €28.7 million in private placements involving institutional investors including Adam Back and TOBAM, and that Swissquote Bank Europe executed the purchase while Taurus handled custody.
Across the coverage, the company’s stated holdings after the buy remained 3,521 BTC, with the sources tying the latest tranche to Capital B’s capital raises and its ongoing plan to increase the bitcoin held per fully diluted share over time.
