Gaza war toll rises
Israeli bombardment targeting Al-Barqa Street in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip killed Palestinian Mohammed Adnan Bashir, while the WAFA report described continued attacks by Israeli forces and settlers across the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on Monday.

At the same time, the report said Israeli forces arrested five Palestinians after storming homes in al-Mughair in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate and released tear gas during their raid on Shuqba, west of Ramallah, with no reported injuries.
Qasra siege and reactions
Amnesty International described the siege of three Palestinian families’ homes in Qasra, southeast of Nablus, as “coordinated and strategic settler terrorism,” saying the families had been confined since the 9th of this month with food supplies running low and lacking basic needs including running water.
Amnesty’s Director of Research, Human Rights, and Global Issues Erika Guevara Rosas said the siege reflects “a rapidly accelerating and documented pattern of settler terrorism that Israel funds, enables, and finances to displace Palestinians.”
In the same Qasra episode, Amnesty said attempts to break the siege met violence, including settlers attacking Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances trying to deliver water and food to the families.
The Al-Jazirah Net account described Hebron Governorate attacks in parallel, saying the Palestinian Red Crescent Society treated 10 injuries during an assault by the occupation army and settlers on Habba al-Jabriya alley in Hebron city.
It added that two of the gunshot injuries were to civilians, including a 60-year-old elderly man injured in his back and hand, and a 46-year-old young man who was arrested by the army after being injured.
Blockades, hospitals, and pressure
In Qusra south of Nablus, The Times of Israel reported that IDF soldiers were stationed outside Palestinian homes besieged for the past week, blocking occupants from leaving while apparently attempting to prevent settlers from returning.

A resident told The Times of Israel that the siege began August 9 when settler extremists surrounded the buildings to compel residents including young children to flee, and the report said the families were later allowed to return after an IDF operation late last week temporarily relocated them.
The Times of Israel also said UN representatives arrived Sunday bringing residents food and water, but security forces did not allow a water tanker to remain at the site.
Elsewhere in the West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry urged WHO and ICRC to intervene after Israeli forces raided the Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation hospital, “terrified patients and visitors, and assaulted some of them,” according to a statement carried by Anadolu Ajansı.
The ministry said the raid and continuing violations against hospitals and medical centers constitute “a serious violation of international conventions and laws,” and it warned that such actions threaten health services and patients’ right to receive care safely.
