The Collision
A French high-speed TGV train collided with a military convoy truck in Pas-de-Calais.

The train's 56-year-old driver was killed, and 27 others were injured.
The truck was part of a military convoy transporting a mobile bridge.
The collision occurred around 7:25 am near Bully-les-Mines.
More than 200 passengers were evacuated.

The railway line was suspended for at least 24 hours.
Human Toll and Response
The TGV driver suffered cardiac arrest and died despite efforts to revive him.
