Beatrice Keul, former Miss Switzerland, alleges Trump raped her in 1993 at the Plaza Hotel. House Democrats' Epstein report details five women alleging rape or sexual assault by Trump.

Keul accuses Trump

House Judiciary Committee Democrats released a report alleging that former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul was raped by US President Donald Trump during a November 1993 incident at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Keul told committee staff that Trump promised to arrange a visa for her and to ensure she was accepted into New York University, and she said Trump told her, "I will take care of you".

Keul alleged that after Trump stepped away, Jeffrey Epstein approached her as "Don's best friend" and invited her to a party at Mar-a-Lago. Keul said Trump later grabbed her from behind and forcibly raped her, tearing her dress and causing bleeding and bruising on multiple parts of her body, and she described the rape as "brutal".

White House denies

The White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis denied the allegations and said, "None of these allegations are true," in response to the House Judiciary Committee report. Bis also reiterated the administration’s position on Epstein, saying the report was "nothing more than a desperate attempt by crazed Democrats to distract Americans".

House Judiciary Committee ranking Democrat Jamie Raskin accused the Justice Department of covering up "crimes to protect the president," and he called for Attorney General Todd Blanche to appoint an independent special counsel. Raskin argued that "Five women have directly accused Trump of rape or sexual assault" in Epstein’s company or presence, and he said the special counsel should investigate Epstein’s potential accomplices and co-conspirators.

Special counsel push

House Judiciary Committee Democrats said their report details allegations involving 11 women, including five who accuse "Trump of rape or sexual assault" in Jeffrey Epstein’s close company or presence. The report calls for an independent special counsel to be appointed to investigate potential co-conspirators, and it argues that the Department of Justice’s "conflict of interest and obstruction make clear" that Trump’s appointees cannot be trusted.

The report also alleges that Attorney General Todd Blanche, who was Deputy Attorney General at the time, "likely knew about certain survivors’ claims against" Trump when he interviewed Epstein co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell in prison. The White House denied the report’s allegations, with a spokesperson telling NBC News, "None of these allegations are true," and saying the report was "nothing more than a desperate attempt by crazed Democrats to distract Americans".
