Iranian military and security officials praised 200 consecutive nights of nationwide street demonstrations as proof of Iran’s strength and as an “ultimate deterrent against the United States and Israel.”

PressTV said the leadership of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and the armed forces praised the continuous public mobilization and described it as a “historic turning point” that shattered Western calculations for “regime change.”P
Major General Mohsen Rezaei, the SNSC secretary, framed the 200-night mobilization as a “definitive break from Iran’s tragic history of foreign subjugation over the past two centuries and before the Islamic Revolution,” and said, “In the last 200 years, Iran was repeatedly targeted by invasions, occupations, and foreign interventions.”
Mehr News Agency marked the 200th night by citing Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, who said the rallies have been ongoing for 200 nights since the US and Israeli war of aggression waged against the country on Feb. 28, 2026.
The same Mehr account said the “true power” of Islamic Iran’s armed forces is “deep rooted to the unwavering support of the people more than in any equipment or weaponry.”
Voices, Unity, and Threats
ABNA English reported that Iran’s Expediency Council chief Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani praised 200 nights of public presence in the wake of Iranian defense against the US-Israeli aggression and endeavours in the Strait of Hormuz, writing on X that “only steadfast resistance can repel the enemy’s malice.”
In the same ABNA account, Larijani said the “200 nights of presence on the streets and endeavours in the Strait of Hormuz have ensured the security and dignity of Iran and its committed nation.”
PressTV quoted Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Ali Abdollahi, praising the nightly rallies as “a show of sacred unity that strengthens the armed forces’ morale, boosts national power, and instills fear in the hearts of the enemy.”P
PressTV also quoted IRGC Commander-in-Chief Major General Ahmad Vahidi describing the rallies as a “national awakening” and a “profound spiritual manifestation,” and said he highlighted the renewed oath of allegiance to the new Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.P
PressTV added that General Vahidi warned that after failing on the battlefield, the US-Israeli coalition is pivoting to “cognitive warfare, economic strangulation, and attempts to induce public fatigue,” and urged the public to counter this hybrid war. P

Tehran Times described the 200th night as protests across Iran against U.S.-Israeli aggression, with its narrative moving from Kharg Island to Shiraz, Sanandaj, Birjand, Tonekabon, and Arak, where a woman named Zahra Fattahi repaired damaged Iranian flags and prepared them to be raised again.T

Tehran Times said the nightly gatherings began in cities across Iran following the outbreak of war and continued through “heat, humidity, rain and winter cold,” and it described how some participants treated the gatherings as a place where grief and public presence exist side by side.T
The Tehran Times account also said that for many participants the nights carried a second meaning tied to the absence of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and it cited March 12, 2026 and April 9 messages from Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei about helping one another and not concluding that public presence was no longer necessary.T
In Arak, Tehran Times described Zahra Fattahi as bringing her sewing machine almost every night and said she repairs flags damaged during the gatherings and prepares them to be raised again, turning the act into a recurring symbol in the visual record.T
PressTV had earlier tied the street mobilization to deterrence and resistance, with General Rezaei saying the enemy “is now on its knees before your resolve,” and the Mehr News Agency account asserting that the people’s support has “disrupted the enemy's calculations.”
