IRGC claims 11 aircraft destroyed

Anadolu Ajansı reported Mohebbi said the attacks were carried out between July 8 and July 22, while speaking to the semi-official Tasnim News Agency.

Mohebbi claimed the destroyed equipment included 17 reconnaissance and operational drones, one F-15 fighter jet inside a hardened shelter, one P-8 maritime patrol aircraft, one C-17 military transport aircraft, and eight aerial refueling aircraft.

The Anadolu Ajansı account also said Mohebbi claimed Iranian strikes damaged nine command-and-control centers and destroyed a range of radar systems and other military infrastructure, while not specifying the locations of the US bases.

Casualty claims and warnings

Mohebbi also claimed that more than 200 US service members were killed after Washington violated the memorandum of understanding, dismissing US casualty figures as “absolute lies.”

Anadolu Ajansı reported Mohebbi challenged Washington to allow journalists to visit the strike sites to independently assess the casualties, and said the number of wounded US personnel was “far higher” than the reported death toll.

In a separate report, Breakingthenews.net said Mohebbi accused the US administration of hiding the real death toll and claimed US military fatalities exceeded 200.

Breakingthenews.net also quoted Mohebbi’s broader claim that Iranian forces destroyed 11 American fighter jets and helicopters on the ground while stationed at US military bases in the region over the past 15 days.

Operation Nasr 2 and Jordan

IRNA English said the IRGC statement claimed the strike inflicted severe damage on several fighter jets, smashed a US military residence, and left several troops killed and wounded.

Latest news from Azerbaijan, citing Mehr new agency, said the IRGC claimed it struck US military targets in Jordan and Iraq, including damaging several fighter aircraft and destroying a Patriot air defence system and a surveillance balloon.

The Azerbaijan report also quoted the IRGC statement calling on research institutions and media organisations to conduct “field investigations” into its claims, and warned that the United States would face “different responses” if it continued what Iran described as its “hostile actions.”
