Bombings and demolitions
Israeli forces carried out new bombings in the two towns of Tallousa and Houla in South Lebanon, according to an Al-Manar reporter.
“Israeli enemy carries out new bombings in the two towns of Tallousa and Houla”
Al-Manar TV Lebanon said the Israeli enemy carried out the bombings in Tallousa and Houla, while Antiwar reported that two people were killed in the southern Lebanese town of Mayfadoun after they came upon unexploded ordinance left behind in a recent Israeli operation.

Antiwar also said Israeli strikes were reported against the nearby town of Mansouri, causing a fire, and overnight against a home in a residential neighborhood of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, with the home destroyed but casualties unclear.
Antiwar added that operations today were principally focused on expanding destruction across the south, with mass demolitions reported in multiple towns using localized ordinance explosions and artillery shelling against buildings.
In the village of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Antiwar reported that demolitions centered on civilian infrastructure, with forces leveling a four-storey schoolhouse as well as a nearby clinic and nursery.
Voices and competing tolls
Lebanese officials and media outlets described the demolitions and explosions in Tallouseh and Houla as part of a broader pattern of localized explosive operations near the demarcation line, with the operational activity underscoring persistent military escalation along the southern frontier.
صوت الإمارات said Lebanese media outlets reported that the Israeli military carried out controlled explosions and demolitions in the border towns of Tallouseh and Houla in southern Lebanon, alongside artillery shelling and airstrikes targeting multiple border locations.

In parallel, Al-Talfaziyya Al-Arabiyya reported that Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri said Lebanon is counting on an American role to stop Israel’s attacks, and it quoted Berri saying President Trump “alone is able to compel Israel to halt the war and withdraw.”
Al-Talfaziyya Al-Arabiyya also said Berri told a delegation from the American Working Group for Lebanon that U.S. President Donald Trump is able to compel Israel to halt its assaults, while Al-Manar TV Lebanon framed the latest developments as an Israeli air raid targeting Al-Mansouri town and a new bombing in Zawtar Al-Sharqiyeh town.
Antiwar put the confirmed deaths in this year’s invasion of Lebanon at 4,346 and said over 12,000 others were wounded, while Lebanese Ministry of Health updates in Al-Manar’s live feed said the toll of the Israeli aggression since March 2 was 4,348 martyrs and 12,307 injuries.
Displacement, reconstruction, and negotiations
Several sources tied the ongoing strikes and demolitions to the status of negotiations and agreements under American auspices, including the “Framework Formula” agreement signed on June 26, 2026.
“Since March 2, 2026, Israel has continued its aggression against Lebanon”
Bawābat al-Shuruq said Lebanon and Israel signed under American auspices on June 26, 2026, the “Framework Formula” agreement providing for an Israeli gradual withdrawal from the Lebanese territory it occupies in exchange for the deployment of the Lebanese army there and the disarmament of armed groups.
Bawābat al-Shuruq also said that since March 2, 2026, Israel has continued its aggression against Lebanon, resulting in 4,346 people martyred and 12,301 others injured, in addition to more than one million displaced, according to Lebanese authorities.
Al-Bawāba al-Hadaf al-akhbārīya reported that Lebanese President Michel Aoun stressed the need to stop Israeli attacks and called for an end to blowing up and destroying homes and property and bulldozing them and targeting civilians.
That same source said Aoun, during a meeting with Canadian International Development Minister Randy Boissonnier at Baabda Palace, affirmed that the Lebanese state will oversee reconstruction of areas destroyed by Israel in the south after Israeli forces withdraw and the Lebanese army deploys to the international border.
