Southern Lebanon Strikes
Israeli forces carried out drone strikes and other attacks in southern Lebanon, including strikes on the Al-Mansouri area in the Tyre district earlier on Friday morning, according to Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).
Middle East Eye said the Israeli military also conducted an overnight operation that trapped residents of Haris, southern Lebanon, as NNA reported.
Shafaq News reported that Israeli forces carried out a series of attacks on Friday targeting two locations with drone strikes and carrying out a controlled explosion in the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiya.
Shafaq News also said an Israeli drone struck the town of Choukin in the Nabatieh district and a separate drone targeted a motorcycle on the Al-Bayyada–Naqoura road.
Hezbollah Killed, Talks Continue
In parallel with the strikes, Ici Beyrouth reported that the Israeli army said it had killed three Hezbollah members in southern Lebanon in the Beit Yahoun sector inside the security zone.
Ici Beyrouth quoted the Israeli military statement saying, “After spotting them, the IDF neutralized the three terrorists, who were in possession of combat equipment, to remove the threat they posed to Israeli soldiers operating nearby,”.

اندبندنت عربية said Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz told his American counterpart Pete Hegseth that Israel intends to remain in the 'security zones' it has established inside Lebanon, Syria, and the Gaza Strip.
The same source quoted the statement from Katz’s office stressing that 'Israel's determination to remain in the security zones in Syria, Gaza, and Lebanon to protect Israel's borders and the communities near the border from the threats of extremist forces.'
Casualties and Human Impact
Middle East Eye reported that as of yesterday, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said 4,324 people have been killed by Israeli strikes in Lebanon since 2 March.

Naharnet said Israeli occupying forces opened machine-gun fire overnight, trapping several residents in the southern town of Harees, who appealed to the Lebanese Army to evacuate them.
Naharnet also described enemy drones carrying out airstrikes last night targeting the southern town of Mansouri, killing several people, whose bodies were recovered on Friday.
The same Naharnet report said Lebanese Civil Defense teams from the Qlayaa center, supported by army units, worked to extinguish fires that broke out in wheat fields outside Qlayaa east of Burj al-Mulouk after incendiary bombs ignited agricultural lands.
