28 Palestinians detained
Israeli forces launched a wide-scale raid and arrest campaign in the West Bank on Thursday, detaining 28 people including family members of martyrs, according to Saba.

In Ramallah, Israeli forces arrested Ahmed Mahmoud Qaraan (24 years old) and Muhammad Aziz Abed (23 years old) from Al-Bireh after raiding and searching their homes, Saba said.
Saba also reported that in Salfit Israeli forces arrested seven young men from the village of Farkha, southwest of Salfit, at dawn on Thursday after storming the village and raiding Palestinian homes.
In Qalqilya, Saba said Israeli forces arrested seven Palestinians from the families of martyrs early Thursday morning after raiding their homes, including the father of martyr Jamal Abu Haniyeh Ibrahim and his son Mohammed, and the father of martyr Jibril Jibril Ghassan and his son Ashraf.
In Tulkarm, Saba reported Israeli forces arrested five Palestinians from the towns of Allar, Saida, and Qaffin, north of Tulkarm in the West Bank, at dawn on Thursday.
IDF drills and readiness
In a separate report, Ynetnews described how the Nahal Brigade’s 931st Battalion shifted from operating deep inside Lebanon to intensive operations with the Ephraim Regional Brigade in the West Bank.
Ynetnews said the battalion completed a two-day intensive exercise in the Kana Stream area designed to simulate combat in the dense, mountainous terrain of southern Lebanon.
The battalion commander, Lt. Col. N., told Ynetnews that “We operate in the Ephraim Brigade every day, from weapons searches to arrests and questioning in the field,” linking routine West Bank activity to readiness for the north.
Ynetnews also quoted Lt. Col. N. saying, “It definitely made things harder,” describing how extreme heat affected soldiers carrying heavy loads during the exercise.
The report added that Lt. Col. N. said the drone threat was addressed through a “structured response procedure” and that soldiers practiced a precise response procedure during the exercise.
UN warns of breaking point
Al Jazeera reported that Israeli forces continued their crackdown in the occupied West Bank, arresting at least 23 Palestinians and demolishing several homes, as the United Nations warned the situation was at a “breaking point”.

Al Jazeera said the arrests and demolitions on Tuesday came as dozens of Israeli settlers continued attacks and raids on Palestinian villages, including one in Khirbet ar-Ras al-Ahmar where parts of a water pipeline was destroyed.
Deputy Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Ramiz Alakbarov told the UN Security Council that the West Bank was at “breaking point,” adding that Israeli forces and settlers have killed 76 Palestinians, including 18 children, in the occupied territory so far this year.
Al Jazeera also reported that UN figures show Israel has demolished an average of 122 Palestinian buildings every month this year.
The report said Alakbarov warned that these steps were “interconnected steps, not isolated developments,” reshaping the occupied West Bank and advancing “de facto annexation.”
