Bethlehem Worker Chase
Israeli forces chased workers in the Wadi al-Hummus area east of Bethlehem, located between Dar Salah, east of Bethlehem, and the town of Sur Baher, before opening fire on them.
WAFA said the shooting left a man in his 30s from the town of Sa'ir, north of Hebron, wounded in the lower limbs with live ammunition and transferred him to a hospital for medical treatment.

Al-Najah University News and Al-Masdar News both described the same chase and live fire in the Wadi al-Hummus area east of Bethlehem, with the injured man hit in his lower limbs.
The West Bank reporting also framed the episode as part of an escalation in pursuit and crackdown on workers in the Wadi al-Hummus area, with repeated injuries described as workers tried to move and work.
Escalation and Injuries
The La Media report said Israeli forces intensified escalating assaults and repressive measures in several areas of the West Bank through raids, incursions, mistreatment, house searches, and the closure of village and town entrances.
In Jenin, La Media reported raids on Khirbet Mas'ud southwest of Jenin and said the forces conducted searches of residents' homes and threatened residents not to film the movements of Israeli settlers in the area.

La Media also described Israeli forces closing the entrance to the village of Al-Mughir, northeast of Ramallah, ahead of the funeral procession of the teenage martyr Fadi al-Na'asan, who died this morning from injuries sustained by army gunfire a week earlier.
In the same La Media account, Israeli forces fired a volley of tear gas toward Al-Mughir Boys' School, causing a fire in the school’s yard, and it added that a Palestinian youth was injured after being assaulted by Israeli forces during their raid on the village of Kafr Ni'ma west of Ramallah.
Broader Pattern, Data
La Media said an official report from the Jerusalem Governorate put the number of Palestinian workers injured by occupation forces’ gunfire near the separation wall since the start of 2026 at at least 39 workers.
The same La Media report stated that since October 7, 2023, more than 35,000 Palestinian workers have been detained and pursued, while more than 52 workers were martyred while trying to secure their families’ livelihoods.
La Media further reported that Data from the Palestinian Information Center Mada showed that Israeli forces and settlers committed 6,856 violations in the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem during June 2026.
It also said the Palestinian Committee Against the Wall and Settlements documented a sharp rise in Israeli violations in the West Bank during the first half of 2026, totaling 11,074 assaults carried out by Israeli forces and settler militias.
