Charges Filed
Sandhu Ponnachan has been charged after seven people were injured.
“Sandhu Ponnachan has now been charged with six counts of Section 18 GBH with intent”
He faces six counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and other charges.
The victims suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigation Continues
Ponnachan was arrested seven minutes after the incident.
Four of the injured have been discharged from hospital.
Chief Superintendent Aldred said the incident sent shockwaves through the community.
