Meghan Markle shared a first glimpse of her family life in the United Kingdom after returning with Prince Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet, posting a 35-second video on her Instagram on Sunday.

The montage opens with Meghan, 45, and Harry, 41, holding hands while taking a walk through a forest, then shows one child warming their toes by a fire and Meghan enjoying the outdoors in green rain boots while splashing through mud.
The clip, set to Wham!’s “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,” includes Lilibet riding a bicycle while Archie runs alongside her, and it also features the family’s dogs, Pula and Mia, exploring their new surroundings.
In another moment, Prince Harry and the children are seen sitting in a canoe as they prepare for a fishing lesson, as per the outlet.
The update comes weeks after Meghan and Harry officially returned to the UK on August 26, six years after moving their young family to California.
Status Letter, Surprise
Following their return, King Charles issued a letter of guidance on September 7 confirming that the move would bring “no change” to Harry and Meghan’s status as non-working royals, a position they agreed to after stepping back from royal duties in 2020.
The letter was issued after “a number of requests” seeking clarification on Harry and Meghan’s status, which was confirmed to be “akin to private citizens.”
A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle told E! News that the couple was “little surprised not to have been told about this in advance,” according to the ANI report.
ABC News said the couple will remain non-working members of the royal family following their return to the U.K., according to a letter sent earlier this month on behalf of King Charles III.
ABC News also reported that Harry made his first public appearance since the move on Sept. 10, attending an Invictus Games event in London.

The Telegraph added that tensions with Buckingham Palace emerged after a letter was sent at the direction of the King reminding military and government figures that the Sussexes remained “private citizens,” and it said the couple admitted the letter took them by surprise with only one hour’s warning.
