Mirae issues tokenized notes

Mirae Asset Securities’ Hong Kong unit issued six-month floating-rate tokenized notes on Solana for institutional investors under its $3 billion structured note program. Marketnode acted as an authorized distributor for the transaction, and Mirae Asset Securities managed token issuance, payments, and the notes’ lifecycle using its internal digital infrastructure.

Mirae Asset Securities described the deal as a potential model for distributing a wider range of structured products through blockchain-based channels. Mirae Asset Securities is part of South Korea’s Mirae Asset Financial Group, whose businesses span brokerage, investment banking, asset management and insurance, and whose affiliate Mirae Asset Consulting acquired a controlling stake in crypto exchange Korbit in July, which rebranded to Digital X.

Promissory notes, same structure

TradingView described the Hong Kong subsidiary’s issuance as tokenized promissory notes on Solana for institutional investors, also under a $3 billion structured promissory notes program. Marketnode again appeared as the authorized distributor, and Mirae Asset Securities managed the issuance of the tokens, the payments, and the lifecycle of the promissory notes through its internal digital infrastructure.

Mirae Asset Global Investments operated the ETF brands Global X and TIGER, and the group’s website indicated it managed $275 billion in ETF assets as of June 2026. Pluang framed the same broader move as Mirae Asset issuing six-month USD floating-rate notes using its own tokenization technology on the Solana blockchain, and it said the notes were privately placed to professional investors.

Grvt partnership and cautions

Mirae Asset Securities and Grvt described their tokenized financing notes issuance as a first step, and they said they could explore other products including Treasury bonds, corporate bonds, and tokenized ETFs subject to regulatory approvals and requirements. The DiarioBitcoin account said the announcement did not detail the issue amount, its economic terms, or the associated yield, and it said those aspects could not be taken as established.

DiarioBitcoin also reported a regulatory caveat in the press release, stating that Grvt is not authorized or registered with the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, known as the SFC, and that Grvt Earn has not been authorized by that entity nor is it being offered to the public in Hong Kong. Mirae Asset Securities (HK) and its affiliates stated they do not operate, distribute, or recommend Grvt Earn and that they do not assume responsibility for its operation, availability, performance, or profitability.
