After Felix "xQc" read the messages during a stream, Nick responded in a discussion on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit, insisting the Discord chats were already reviewed in court.

Nick said the screenshots had "no bearing in the actual court that mattered," and he argued that taking them out of context could distort what happened.
