Taylor Swift Marries Travis Kelce in Madison Square Garden Ceremony With Adam Sandler Officiating

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were married in an elaborate ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, July 3, according to a Swift publicist confirmed to KSHB 41 Kansas City and to PEOPLE.

KSHB 41 Kansas City reported that the ceremony did not include bridesmaids or groomsmen, with Swift’s brother Austin Swift serving as her Man of Honor and Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce serving as his Best Man.

PEOPLE said the wedding ceremony looks were created by Christian Dior Haute Couture and designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the couple.

CBS News also said a Swift representative confirmed the ceremony was officiated by comedian Adam Sandler, with Austin Swift as her Man of Honor and Jason Kelce as his best man.

CBS News added that law enforcement sources said the couple welcomed around 1,000 guests for the wedding at Madison Square Garden, while large black SUVs arrived shortly after 3 p.m. ET under tight security.

CBS News described Madison Square Garden as under tight security, saying that "There are 135 officers assigned around the venue Friday" and that streets directly around MSG had police barricades blocking pedestrians.

Billboard reported that dozens of celebrities were arriving in New York City ahead of the ceremony, including Jack Antonoff, Abigail Anderson, Gigi Hadid with Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, and Mariska Hargitay.

Rolling Stone framed the guest list as “jam-packed,” naming musicians including Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, and also listing Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez among those invited.

ESPN said celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, Matthew Stafford, Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, Ethan Hawke, Hugh Grant, and Jason Sudeikis were spotted leaving hotels in Manhattan on Friday as festivities got underway.

Extra reported that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wore looks by Christian Dior Haute Couture, with custom shoes by Christian Louboutin, and that Taylor wore Cartier jewelry for her big day.
