Trade Talks Confirmed
Sean McVay confirmed the Rams explored trading Davante Adams while pursuing A.J. Brown.
“If we felt like it was best for our team, we would have done that, but we didn't think it was best for our team”
McVay talked with Adams about the potential trade.
Adams led the league with 14 receiving touchdowns last season.
Why the Talks Happened
The Rams wanted to upgrade their receiving corps with Brown.
They discussed how it might affect Adams.

They did not trade Adams because of Brown's medical records and the looming roster bonus.
Adams' Contract and Future
Adams signed a two-year, $44 million contract in March 2024.
“The Rams ultimately didn’t trade for Brown because something in the medical records caused them to tap out”
McVay said the focus was on free agency and upcoming plans.
Despite leading the league in touchdowns, Adams' yards were the fewest since 2015.
Keenan Allen Possible Fit
The Rams could add at least one more receiver.
Keenan Allen could be a fit if they strike a deal.
Allen might reconsider if he can stay in L.A.
