Drone strike in Deir al-Balah
An Israeli drone strike hit a displacement tent in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, killing two Palestinians and injuring several others early Monday, Anadolu reported.

Anadolu said the tent was located near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and that the victims were identified as Mohammed Nasser Abu Assad and Ibrahim Nasser Abu Assad.
Al Jazeera reported that an Israeli air attack near the Maghazi refugee camp on Sunday morning killed at least one person and wounded two others, citing the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.A
Al Jazeera also tied the Sunday attack to a day earlier, saying a drone attack targeted the al-Hasanat family in Deir el-Balah, killing one person and wounding several others, according to Ashraf Abu Amra’s reporting from the city.A
Ceasefire claims and hospital tolls
Al Jazeera said at least 1,286 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since the so-called “ceasefire” agreement took effect in October, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health.A
Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum, reporting from Deir el-Balah, said the Israeli military issued forced displacement orders for at least four sites in Gaza ahead of Monday’s attacks, including strikes on a water desalination plant, a mosque and a warehouse holding humanitarian supplies.A
Abu Azzoum said, “These sites are considered safe under the ceasefire agreement, but the Israeli military has been intensifying attacks under the pretext of security,” and he added that “People on the ground say the ceasefire has effectively represented an extension of the war itself.”
In a separate report, Anadolu said Israeli forces have carried out daily violations of the ceasefire in place since Oct. 10 which have killed 1,286 people and wounded 4,257, according to Palestine Health Ministry data.

In the same reporting, Al Jazeera said another child, identified as Amal Nash’at Abu Khater, died from gunshot wounds after Israeli forces fired on her in Khan Younis, and it described a man dying from injuries sustained during an Israeli raid on a tent in central Deir el-Balah early on Monday, with two others also dying from injuries sustained during Israeli attacks last week.A
Al-Talefziyyah Al-Arabiyyah reported that Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said Israeli threats over balloons and kites were “an attempt to justify ongoing aggression and threaten children,” after Benjamin Netanyahu and Benny Gantz threatened to escalate operations and uproot Palestinians if launches did not stop.
