Fighting intensified in Sudan’s Darfur and Kordofan as a Rapid Support Forces attack killed 8 people in the Um Duban area of West Barah locality in North Kordofan State, according to a Sudanese army source cited by Al-Jazirah Net. The same source said the Sudanese army was fighting “fierce battles” with the Rapid Support Forces around the Kilie area in the Blue Nile region in southeastern Sudan.
