Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told the BRICS foreign ministers’ meeting in New Delhi that there is “no military solution” to issues involving Iran and said, “we will never bow to any pressure or threat.”

WANA News Agency said Araghchi responded to remarks by a representative of the United Arab Emirates by describing Abu Dhabi as an “active partner in the aggression” against Iran.

WANA News Agency also said Araghchi claimed the UAE initially refused to condemn attacks and later participated by providing military bases, airspace access, and intelligence facilities to the United States and Israel.

PressTV said Araghchi delivered the remarks as the two-day meeting was hosted by Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of India, and argued that “Imperial power in decline wants to turn back the clock.”

At the BRICS meeting, WANA News Agency said Araghchi told the Emirati official present, “Even your alliance with the Israelis failed to protect you.”
