Drone strikes in Tuffah
Israeli drones attacked residents in the Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, killing three Palestinians and injuring several others on Tuesday evening, according to IMEMC News. IIMEMC News identified one of the slain Palestinians as Adham Sobhi Ziyara, who died from wounds sustained in the attack on Al-Nafaq Street, east of Gaza City. Medical crews recovered the bodies of two Palestinians and evacuated three wounded people, including a child, after the drone struck a group near a café close to Muscat School in the Al-Mashahra area of Tuffah, IMEMC News reported.I
Israeli drone strikes also targeted a parked jeep near Al-Aqqad Mosque in the northern Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, and IMEMC News said no injuries were reported. Hospitals report more deaths
Al-Jazira Net said Gaza hospital sources reported four Palestinians martyred by Israeli occupation forces fire in the central and southern Gaza Strip since this morning. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital stated that a woman was martyred from wounds sustained by Israeli forces’ shooting at al-Bureij camp in the center of the Strip, Al-Jazira Net reported. Al-Jazira Net also said a medical source reported the martyrdom of the young Yahya Abu Samur (24) who died of a gunshot wound inflicted by the Israeli army in the western Sater area north of Khan Younis on Tuesday evening.
Anadolu Ajansı reported that a medical source told Anadolu that 24-year-old Yahya Abu Samour died of his wounds sustained by a gunshot fired by the Israeli army in the Western Sector (Al-Sitr Al-Gharbi) north of Khan Younis on Tuesday evening. Anadolu Ajansı added that two Palestinians were killed and others injured on Wednesday by Israeli shelling targeting a civilian vehicle in Khan Younis, while it said eyewitnesses reported Israeli artillery shells east of Gaza City.
Winter shelter crisis deepens
IMEMC News said UNICEF data underscored the scale of Gaza’s shelter crisis ahead of winter, with nearly 84 percent of the population, more than 1.76 million people, living in overcrowded displacement sites or damaged and inadequate shelters. IIMEMC News reported that UNICEF appealed for $97.5 million to fund its winter response in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank from October 2026 through March 2027, citing risks of heavy rain, flooding, severe cold, and disruptions to essential services. IIMEMC News said the United Nations warned that continued shortages of materials and equipment could worsen conditions once the rains begin, and it cited OCHA assessments of 178,632 housing units with about 107,941 severely damaged, destroyed, or uninhabitable.I
IMEMC News also said Gaza’s Health Ministry reported hospitals received five slain Palestinians and 25 wounded people during the previous 24 hours, with fatalities including four Palestinians newly killed and one who died from earlier wounds. IIMEMC News stated that since the “ceasefire” took effect on October 11, 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,399 Palestinians and injured 4,863 others, and it added that the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 has risen to 73,919 with 174,977 Palestinians injured.I
