Drone strikes, hospital counts

Israeli drone strikes killed three Palestinians and injured 10 others on Monday across the center and south of the Gaza Strip, according to Al-Jazeera Net, as the attacks were described as part of daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in force since October 2025. A medical source at Nasser complex said Palestinian Asaad Suleiman Qishta was martyred and five others were injured in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, and another drone strike targeted the Faisal School sheltering displaced people in the Japanese Quarter area of Khan Younis. A medical source at Nasser Medical Complex said Israeli army fire killed four Palestinians and wounded 10 others on Monday, with a man killed and five wounded, including a woman and two girls, in al-Mawasi west of Khan Younis.

A Palestinian man was killed and four others were wounded, one critically, in a strike in Khan Younis, and a 40-year-old man was killed and another Palestinian was moderately wounded in an attack east of Deir al-Balah. Israeli military vehicles opened fire heavily toward areas east and south of Khan Younis, and Israeli artillery and gunboats opened fire toward the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City and fired shells toward the coast.

Police targeted, Hamas condemns

An Israeli drone attack killed five Palestinian police officers and wounded several people in al-Mawasi west of Khan Younis on Sunday, and the Palestinian Ministry of Interior and National Security condemned the attack as a “horrific massacre”.

The ministry said at least 75 police officers and security personnel have been killed by Israel since the “ceasefire” with Hamas came into effect in October last year, and the Israeli army claimed its attack was targeting “a terrorist” in southern Gaza.

Hamas condemned the latest Israeli attacks as a “deliberate war crime,” and Hamas denounced the “horrific massacre” and called it part of a “continuation of the genocidal war”.

BBC reported that the Hamas-run ministry of interior said a drone attack targeted a group of police officers in the Al-Mawasi area, killing five as they were carrying out their routine duties, while the Israeli military said it had carried out two attacks on what it described as military operatives.

Ali Oweis said, “My son and his child were martyred. They were sitting in their tent, bothering no one, and nothing else was happening in the area when suddenly, a missile struck them, and they were martyred,” and he said, “There is no ceasefire; the war is ongoing, don't you see?”.

Ceasefire toll and wider stakes

Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, as of yesterday Sunday, left 1,583 Palestinians martyred and 5,711 others injured, citing data from the Ministry of Health.

Israeli violations of the Gaza ceasefire have killed 1,583 Palestinians and wounded 5,711 others since Oct. 10, 2025, and the ceasefire was reached after two years of an Israeli genocidal war that has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others since October 2023.

The ongoing ceasefire violations have killed 1,580 Palestinians and wounded 5,711 others, and Israel has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded over 175,000 others since October 2023.

At least nine people died and several more were wounded this Sunday in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip despite the formal truce in effect for more than a year, and the Gazan Ministry of Health raised the death toll among Palestinians to 74,594 and the number of wounded to 175,834 since the war began on October 7, 2023.

The occupation army conducted demolition operations inside areas it controls in the village of al-Masriya (al-Masoura) at dawn, and the Israeli army killed eight Palestinians on Sunday, including a father and his child and five police officers.
