Atlanta Shooting Spree
A string of attacks in the Atlanta suburbs left two women dead and a man in critical condition.

One of the victims was identified as DHS employee Lauren Bullis.

The 26-year-old suspect, Olaolukitan Adon Abel, was a British-born man naturalized in 2022.
He was charged with two counts of malice murder, aggravated assault, and firearms counts.
The attacks began around 1 a.m. when an unidentified woman was found with gunshot wounds near a Checkers restaurant.
Bullis was found around 7 a.m. with gunshot and stab wounds while walking her dog and died at the scene.
DHS Worker Killed
Lauren Bullis served in multiple roles at DHS Office of Inspector General.
She was remembered by colleagues as warm, kind, and compassionate.
Fellow auditor Ashley Toillion said, You couldn’t meet her and not be her friend.
Bullis was stabbed and shot while walking her dog.
The DHS community was devastated by the loss of a dedicated public servant.
Suspect's Criminal History
The suspect was naturalized in 2022 despite a lengthy criminal history.

Mullin issued a statement blaming the Biden administration for naturalizing a convicted felon.
The statement cataloged a litany of the defendant’s previous alleged crimes.
The case has become a flashpoint in the immigration debate.
