Hatami rejects enemy claims
Iran’s Army Commander-in-Chief, Major General Amir Hatami, said Saturday that the enemy failed to achieve its objectives during the “recent imposed wars,” speaking at a ceremony to commemorate the 3,785th anniversary of the Army’s martyrs in Gilan Province in northern Iran. Hatami said the aggressor is considered victorious in military logic when it achieves its goals, while victory in defensive war lies in preventing the enemy from achieving its objectives, and he argued that the enemy was not able to destroy Iran’s ballistic capabilities and unmanned aerial vehicles.
He said the armed forces confronted the enemy “up to the last moment” and faced it decisively “especially air defense,” inflicting damage on manned and unmanned and strategic equipment. Hatami rejected enemies’ claims about destroying the Iranian armed forces, saying the forces “have always stood and will stand in the face of enemies.”

Civilizational defeat narrative
At a memorial ceremony for the martyr Revolutionary Leader titled “The Moon” in Isfahan, Iranian Revolutionary Guard General Staff Advisor Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Nakedi said the defeat of the American enemy in recent wars was “a civilizational defeat.” Nakedi argued that the confrontation collapsed the enemy’s claims about human rights, freedom, democracy, and backing the people, and he said the Iranian people “stood on the path of truth with dignity and grandeur.”
He said the United States dragged the Zionist entity into the field, and he claimed that despite the enemy’s capabilities and claims, “the enemies failed to achieve their goals, and today the world witnesses that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the winner in this war.” Nakedi also asserted that the enemy announced a goal of toppling the Islamic Republic of Iran, but the outcome was a “greater strengthening of the regime,” while he said the enemies tried to divide Iran and the result was a strengthening of people’s cohesion and unity.

Unity and continued confrontation
In Rasht, at a ceremony commemorating army martyrs in Gilan province, Major General Amir Hatami said an aggressor is only victorious when it achieves its objectives, while in a defensive war denying the enemy its goals means the defender has won. Hatami said the enemy sought to destroy Iran’s missile and drone power, but the missiles and drones of the armed forces were fired at the enemy with full intensity until the final moment, and he said Iranian air defence damaged a number of enemy unmanned and manned aircraft and strategic equipment.
He rejected enemy claims that Iran’s armed forces had been destroyed, saying “The enemy claims it has eliminated Iran's armed forces, while they themselves know the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have always stood against enemies with authority, initiative, creativity and courage.” Across the statements, Hatami and the Army-linked messaging emphasized unity and cohesion, with Hatami praising the Iranian people’s unity under the leadership of the Leader and saying national cohesion was growing day by day, while the Revolutionary Guard advisor tied continued victories to unity of the people.
