Immediate retaliation plan
An official with regional security and political affairs told Al-Mayadeen that Iran’s comprehensive and updated plan of the Iranian armed forces has been completed and is fully ready for execution. The official said the procedural and practical plan is based on an immediate response to any military aggression, stressing that the decision is decisive to implement a broad and comprehensive retaliation.
The official warned, “Those who live in glass houses should not allow the use of their lands and capabilities to assist the American and Zionist enemies in targeting their neighbor’s big house.” Lieutenant General Mustafa Izdi told Defense News Agency that the armed forces “are fully ready to respond to any misadventure by the enemies,” and he added that the armed forces “have managed to develop and restore capabilities in the fields of ground-to-ground missiles, air defense, and drones.”
No geographic limits
Major General Ali Abdollahi, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces and commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, issued a statement after Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei stressed that Iranian forces must immediately respond to renewed aggression without any geographical limits. Abdollahi said the armed forces are prepared to confront any form or level of aggression and will defend the country at any cost, while continuously monitoring the other side’s movements and state of readiness.
Abdollahi emphasized that once indications of hostile action are confirmed, the armed forces will not wait for the other side to launch an operation before deciding when and how to respond, and he said Iran’s response would be immediate, effective and without geographical limits. Major General Ali Abdollahi also posted on X that “Whenever signs of hostile action by the enemy are confirmed, the armed forces will not wait for the enemy to launch an attack before deciding when and how to respond,” and he added that the armed forces keep their target bank up to date.
Timing, targets, deterrence
Mohammad Bagher Jamat-e Khamenei told Iran’s armed forces commanders that “every level and type of threat must be met with an immediate, impactful response and without geographic limitations.” The leader said that if the enemies again begin military or terrorist attacks, “it will be the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian people who determine the time and conditions for ending them.”
The head of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Ali Abd Allahi said Iran has a new stockpile of the enemy's targets and assets and that they are on the agenda, and he threatened the United States and Israel with a response beyond imagination. Ali Abd Allahi said, “We will determine the end of any new war; we will not wait for the enemy to initiate action, and we will choose the timing and method of the response if we detect an indicator of hostile action.”
