Israel Strikes Gaza, MSF Says Ceasefire Fails After Al-Mawasi and Gaza City Attacks

MSF head of emergency for Palestine Ozan Agbas said, "Families continue burying their dead, and the space where two million people are supposed to survive has shrunk to less than a third of its area compared with three years ago."M

MSF reported that on July 16, an Israeli strike near an MSF clinic in Al-Mawasi led four injured to its teams, and on July 17, two residential buildings housing MSF staff were struck in Gaza City without warning, trapping families inside the rubble.M

MSF also said that on July 17 its teams treated 12 people in Deir al-Balah and Al-Nuseirat, including seven children, who were injured in an airstrike targeting funeral attendees in Al-Nuseirat, with total toll "eight dead and 20 injured."M

Medical sources cited by webmanagercenter said the civilian toll from the genocidal aggression against the Gaza Strip rose on Monday to 73,329 deaths, with the number of injured reaching 174,009 since the aggression began on October 7, 2023.

Those same sources said that since the Gaza ceasefire agreement took effect on October 11, 2025, Israel has killed 1,203 Palestinians and injured another 3,900.

WAFA Agency reported that despite the ceasefire that went into effect in Gaza on October 11, Israeli breaches have continued, with the death toll rising to 73,335 and at least 174,052 injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023.

WAFA said that since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, the number of those killed and injured has reached 1,209 and 3,943, respectively, and that at least 803 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.

It added that new satellite images show large numbers of tents for Palestinian refugees west of the 'Yellow Line', while berms and earthen fortifications continue to be built, totaling about 30 kilometers since November 2025, and that health authorities reported the death of three Palestinians and injuries to 15 others in airstrikes and gunfire targeting Jabalia, Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Gaza City.
