Al-Manar TV Lebanon also said the 112 victims were members of the Al-Hasayneh and Abu Sharia families, who were martyred when the Israeli army bombed their homes while they were inside on Nov. 23, 2023.

Detention and Neglect

In Israel, Haaretz reported that Dr. Mazen Rantisi, 71, a Ramallah doctor held for more than a month in Ofer Prison, described violence by guards, severe overcrowding, squalid hygiene conditions and food unfit to eat.

Haaretz also reported that the Prison Service responded: “The claims are untrue,” as it addressed Rantisi’s allegations from an incarceration facility for security detainees.

UN News added that this week continued airstrikes and gunfire, restricted aid entry and further advances of the “yellow line” of control were reported by UNRWA as hostilities escalated in the humanitarian area known as the “green zone.”
