HINC Goes Multi-Chain

Securitize and Neuberger Berman launched the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC), described as Neuberger’s first engagement as subadvisor to a tokenized fund.

HINC is designed to invest primarily in high yield bonds and also in other income-producing fixed income investments such as collateralized loan obligations and leveraged loans, with availability across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui.

Neuberger serves as subadviser, while Securitize provides the tokenization platform and related capabilities, and the fund is offered to eligible accredited investors and qualified purchasers subject to onboarding, KYC/AML checks, jurisdictional eligibility and applicable securities-law requirements.

The launch comes as Neuberger’s fixed-income platform is described as overseeing more than $230 billion in assets under management, while Neuberger manages about $613 billion overall across equities, fixed income, private markets, real estate and hedge fund portfolios.

Who Says What

Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo said, "This tokenized fund brings Neuberger's established fixed income capabilities to public blockchains," as the firms positioned HINC across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui.

Neuberger Head of Product Management Anil Abraham added, "We are pleased to work with Securitize to extend our process-driven, actively managed approach to qualified investors looking to access fixed income strategies on-chain."

A separate account of the launch noted that Securitize’s shares rose around 5% in Tuesday morning trading, and it said the company’s market capitalization was about $838 million.

That same coverage also quoted Saxo chief investment strategist Charu Chanana saying, "The emerging regime may reward investors for recognising that capital has a price again."

Risks and Next Steps

While HINC is structured to provide on-chain access through tokenized shares, marketscreener’s description says the fund’s investments in high-yield bonds, collateralized loan obligations and other leveraged credit instruments are subject to elevated credit, interest rate, liquidity, and market risk relative to investment-grade fixed income.M

Marketscreener also warned that because interests are issued and transferred using blockchain-based tokenization technology, an investment in HINC is subject to additional risks including risks related to digital asset custody, smart contract functionality and security, network and technology failures, cybersecurity, and an evolving and uncertain regulatory environment.

DiarioBitcoin reported that Securitize already manages USD 3.400 millones in tokenized assets under management and said the company reported record revenues of USD 19,5 millones in the first quarter.

In that same Spanish-language account, Securitize’s launch timing was tied to an announcement reported on Tuesday and it said the product is known by the ticker HINC and is available on Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui for eligible investors.
