Coffin returns to Mumbles
Thousands of Bonnie Tyler fans lined Newton Road in the Mumbles as her coffin was transported back to her former home ahead of her funeral on Monday.

The Welsh singing legend died in Portugal in July at the age of 75, and her coffin was draped in the Welsh flag as crowds burst into applause and song.
In Mumbles, the hearse left William Pressdee Funeralcare on Stanley Street at about 3.15pm, travelling down Newton Road before turning onto Mumbles Road and back to her home at Llwynderw.
Fans threw flowers onto the hearse as it drove down Newton Road, and the procession was accompanied by Total Eclipse of the Heart playing on the street.
A celebration of her life for family and friends is set for Swansea Minster on Monday at noon, before she makes a final journey through her hometown of Skewen.
Fans sing, mourn, remember
Carys Edwards, 18, told reporters that “Her music touched a lot of people, especially me,” as she watched the hearse pass through the Mumbles.
Her mother, Melanie Smith, 53, added: “Most importantly, she was a Swansea girl, and she didn’t forget that.”
BBC coverage said huge crowds turned out as Tyler’s coffin was driven through the place she called home, with crying fans breaking into applause as Total Eclipse of the Heart could be heard.
The BBC also quoted Angela Powell saying: “She was lovely - just like a friend you'd known all of your life,” as she described meeting Tyler in local venues.
In the procession, fans followed the coffin as it made its way through Newton Road, continuing to walk behind it until the end of the road.
Final services and tributes
Multiple outlets said Tyler’s family planned a celebration of her life at Swansea Minster (St Mary’s Church) on Monday at noon, with the singer then returning to her hometown in Neath Port Talbot.

The Morning Call noted that Tyler was hospitalized in May in Faro for emergency intestinal surgery, and that she died last month in a hospital in Portugal at age 75.
The BBC said Tyler died “unexpectedly” on 8 July, aged 75, at a hospital in Portugal, and that tributes poured in from friends and stars including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart.
In a funeral notice, William Pressdee Funeralcare said Tyler would be remembered as “a warm, generous artist whose music touched generations and continues to fill dance floors and karaoke booths around the world.”
