ABC News reported Allen was being held at the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center and listed misdemeanor charges as operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated—endangering person.

The Colts said in a statement, “We are aware of the incident involving Keenan Allen last night,” and added, “We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time.”

Police say intoxication signs

Multiple outlets tied the arrest to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department traffic investigation that began after officers observed Allen’s vehicle parked in a no-parking zone shortly after 1 a.m.

CBS News said officers “noticed signs of intoxication” when they spoke with Allen and arrested him on preliminary charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (OVWI) and endangering a person.
